Dialog Studio has immediate openings for a full-time experienced UI/Visual Designer. Our projects are a blended mix of corporate and ecommerce websites, product and marketing microsites, portals, embedded applications.

We're a start-up and it takes grit to succeed in a start-up environment. We work in a small open studio and frequently bounce back and forth between projects. Responsibilities
The UI/Visual Designer sees the big picture and understands that engaging design builds brand loyalty. You are confident, articulate, and can clearly present creative ideas to clients. You think strategically about solving design problems by embracing all aspects of the design process. You understand thoughtful planning, intuitive interaction design, engaging visual design, and seamless technical development is complimentary.

You will be heavily involved in all aspects of a project. You will collaborate with the Principal Designer, developers, and the client. You are responsible for creating initial design directions and applying the approved direction to the remainder of the system. In addition, you will occasionally be required to create wires and/or detailed design specifications.

Requirements
• Online portfolio showing a range of visual styles
• Strong conceptual thought and willingness to try new ideas
• Solid understanding of interaction design principles
• 3-5 years of agency and/or studio experience
• Great communication skills
• Adobe CS knowledge
